JGoods out of Minneapolis, Minnesota was able to chop it up and present Mayer Hawthorne with a pair of 1 of 1 JGood’s custom Nike Dunks after the musician’s concert Sunday evening at First Avenue in Minneapolis. If you have yet to come across Mayer Hawthorne’s music then make that time now to hear how he brings a refreshing new soul and jazz sound as a contemporary artist in the “retro” genre. As for the Nike Dunk SBs, JGood’s graced the back heels with his crisp hand painted plaid pattern in shades of brown with Hawthorne’s logo from the “Maybe So, Maybe No” single cover. Topped off with a fancy tweed covered box screen printed with the same logo. These fit the style of Hawthorne as if he just stepped out of a 1960’s jazz club somewhere in Detroit.
