If you don’t already know what this Supreme product is you may be living under a rock or have the benefit of life free from streetwear hype. Two powerhouses in their fashion fields of streetwear and high end, Supreme and Louis Vuitton, came together to release a series of limited co-branded product this year. Much of it was bright Supreme red fit with the LV pattern in white. One of the most sought pieces was the jacquard denim baseball jersey pictured below. Now the run of this jersey is one less as Jester of Red Ribbon Recon cut it apart to be rebuilt as 4 pairs of this Air Jordan 1 High retro.
The entire upper, save for the tongue and Swooshes, were reconstructed in the red denim with a bit of fraying on the edges. Leather tags were used on the tongues to mimic the leather LV tag of the jersey and on the inside with a special message. The tongues feature a red satin with custom set LV print. Lamb skin makes up the pieces of leather used on the Swooshes and liner. The full package comes with three sets of laces, customized box and jersey piece keychain.
All four pairs will be up for grabs as this custom is a collaboration with Red Ribbon Recon and Sneak Peek Luxury. Mens US sizes 10, 11, 12 and 13 will be on display for purchase August 31st at Sneak Peek Luxury August 31st in Miami, FL.
