With the eighth installment of the Fast and Furious series drifting into theaters on April 14, sneaker customizer Kenneth Cole Customs chose the perfect time to drop a 1 of 1 pair of custom Air Max 90s that honor the life of Paul Walker and his role as Brian in six of the previous seven films.
The customs take design inspiration from the first and last cars that Walker’s character drove on screen: the Nissan GT-R Skyline R34 from The Fast and the Furious (2001), and the Nissan GT-R R35 from Furious 7. The left shoe is predominantly silver with hits of blue, and it features the exact nitrous decals and striping from the film car. The right is predominantly a pearlescent blue with black hits and a carbon fiber toe box that mimics the hood of the car from the seventh film. There are LEDs in the airbags of each shoe that mimic the headlights of the respective cars, and the insoles feature photos of the rides that inspired Kenneth Cole Customs’ work.
Finishing off this NOS-fueled pair are “For Paul” dubraes, chrome lace tips, a GT-R emblem badge, and a tiny NOS canister keychain.
