Oh the Nike Roshe. Since shortly after it’s original release three years ago it has been a popular model of choice for customizing. This probably has something to do with its lower price point and pretty comfortable ride. In our eyes though most of the Roshe customs have been pretty lackluster. Whether it’s their blotchy paint jobs or just simply covered in some sort of glued on fabric or iron on transfer type stickers. A few customizers know what they are doing on the Roshe though. One is Sydney Kay Customs.
This first post of her work here is a simple yet eye catching take on the Roshe. All white base with a bit of Swoosh change-up. Titled “Wavy” this white on white casual sneaker features a hand painted set of four Swooshes that give off almost an optical illusion feel as their straight lined tails were reworked to have five waves giving a slight glimpse of a gray backing. A bit of detail on the tongue tab and a custom box ties them together.
