Adidas Y-3 Kazuhiri Geometric Camouflage by BrushFootwear

Success within sneaker customization is a great possibility by focusing on a niche. It seems that Pittsburgh based customizer and artist Ben Smith of BrushFootwear is well aware of at least one niche he can own and the fact it’s rather original only helps. If you’ve seen some of his other work this summer you’ll notice similarities, which after a few more may just become familiarities to a growing audience.

Not afraid to sway from the pack of customizers using the typical base of the moment Smith brings his “abstract” look to the Adidas Y3 Kazuhiri in this pair titled Geometric-Camouflage. This base is one of premium leather that untouched is a cool $300 at retail if you can find them. The slim two color silhoutte was given a bit of life, but not too much, with a run of gray and black geometrical across the lateral and medial vamps. Once again a bit of originality without the look of screaming “Look at my damn shoes! Now!”
