For the most part the majority of customs are created on brand new deadstock shoes as the final presentation is better without creases or worn soles. But these “Staple Pigeon” Nike Air Force III’s by sneaker customizer Hybrid creator of the brand KLR WHALES go against that school of thought. With the idea to give these shoes continued life this custom became a part restoration as the base was a decently worn and yellowed pair of kicks. The addition of a few shades of gray paint was made in the form of safari print on the toe box, solid colors on the upper and midsole, and detailed pigeon graphic on the back heels. The impact Jeff Staple’s Pigeon Nike Dunk has made is officially a that of an heavy inspiration of fan art as many customizers have now given their take on the Staple NY Pigeon theme in gray and orange.
