At this point it is hard to argue on the hype and popularity of the adidas Yeezy selection as hits or misses as every colorway has seemingly been bought up in mere seconds. But so far it’s just been a muted variety of not much…color. Customizers have given the series of shoes life through various color filled applications, many big misses nor have they actually hit the overall Yeezy clothing line look like these. As a commissioned custom The Shoe Surgeon, Dominic Chambrone, put together a custom that would surely be another instant retail sell out.
The adidas primeknit upper was completely replaced with a green US military tarp material. A style that looks pulled right out of whatever Yzy Szn it is by now. This Moonrock colorway of these adidas shoes were reconstructed and lined with Japanese calf leather for a further luxury feel. Odds are this as an official adidas release would drive Instagram accounts and resellers crazy. But that’s not even going to happen on an unofficial custom release either as these are staying 1 of 1. That is unless, according to FootwearNews if Kanye West himself wants a pair, then The Shoe Surgeon would oblige.
