Air Jordan III “True Blue” multiplied by two equals a new Air Jordan VI “True Blue” custom by El Cappy Cutomz. Custom sneaker enthusiasts can thank Eric Lowry aka El Cappy Customz for another Air Jordan custom to crave in less than two weeks after his AJ III X Kobe All Star. Lowry created this design in collaboration with his customer Amaniel Tewelde using a concept PaintOrThread likes to call a “mirrored colorway”, the act of taking a combination or pattern from one actually released shoe and recreating it on an entirely new base. Nike’s classic cement gray and black elephant print made famous by the Air Jordan III is painted on the midsoles, lace hole, and back tab. The pair was originally the White/Varsity Red AJ VI retro whose now encompassing theme is accented by details painted blue: midsole sections, back heel tab, back Jumpman logo stitching and the red eyelets on two lace holes with a final red Jumpman on the tongue that wasn’t changed but is exactly like the IIIs. What do you like more these or the original AJ III?
