Title: Get Randy
Description:
These are an homage to special saying between me and my sister, “Get Randy!” They feature a seductive portrait of a female profile and a painting of the lower half of a woman in her garter with Get Randy tatooed on her hip on the outside of the shoes. The inside of the pair has a pink and turquoise zebra print. Fun and tastefully sexy. Get Randy!

Description:
I created this shoes in honor of Michael Jackson died June 25. One of the shoe is the young Michael Jackson with its year of birth and death, the other represents the “King of Pop” and some songs title. I did the Red seams. There is only 3 colors: black, white and red.
Title: Slowly Regaining Consciousness
Description:
The basic idea behind the shoes is that each color represents different periods in my life: the black representing the difficult times when life is full of adversity & obstacles. The orange represents the times when thing in life start looking up & changing for the better, and the yellow represents the area of life that i’m striving to get to, with the yellow on the nike swoosh extending thru all the colors, representing me “keeping my eyes on the prize” so to speak. Sounds crazy I know, but this design kinda had a personal meaning to me.
Description: Made these for a loyal Where the Wild Things Are fan, in time for him to wear them to the premiere of the new Spike Jonze film. One particular challenge for this pair was replicating Maurice Sendak’s artistic style in marker, which I use exclusively for my shoes. From what I can tell, Sendak used colored pencil and acrylic paint to illustrate the original book, mediums which either lead to smoothly blended colors or many sketchy thin lines.
