These shoes, Paisley Jumpman started as just denim and white leather shoes. I split the seams of the denim, threw them in the washer, to fray the denim. Then I bleached them. Finally I used a paisley pattern on all white leather areas. I chose to stay with a neutral color pattern because of the different tones the bleach changed the denim and the colors worked well with each other.
B: Joey Escobar
These shoes were inspired by the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and the artwork of Ralph Steadman.

Total reconstruction of Blazer SBs, consists of 1000 Denier quilted nylon, Glow fabric, and Patent Leather.
These are a pair of Red Perforated Supra TK’s, that I have customized to match a plaid shirt. I call them “Plaid Fungus Take-Over”. I’ve been doing this for about 2 years now. I just love this design because it’s unique and I invested a lot of time to get them matched perfectly to the shirt.

These shoes took almost two weeks to complete. Zig Zag designs with color schemes like pale blue, turquoise, purple, pink. I’m heavy on shapes to bring that wow factor out in shoes.

This pair is inspired by the Lakers star athlete Kobe Bryant whose on court nickname is “The Black Mamba”. The front toe and lace panels feature a highly detailed hand painted black and gold snakeskin pattern resembling a snake wrapped and coiled around the shoe. A repeated pattern of matte on gloss Kobe Bryant logos adorn the rear heel panels. Custom leather “Black Mamba” tongue tags with the artist’s signature are found on the tongue. Custom “Kobe Bryant” lace jewels were created to add a bit of bling to the laces. A custom sewed bag made of faux snakeskin fabric was also created with gold and black pull-ties. Included is a custom painted cardboard snake head box. which engulfs the whole package.

These are affectionately known as “The Boondocks” kicks. I’m a fan of the cartoon and want to pay homage to them as best I could. I used Angelus paints, a pencil (and brushes of course) images from the web for reference. No stencils, all free hand. Even if I don’t win, I’m definitely open for critique as I’m new to the shoe customizing game.

Title: “Tech Challenge Huarache”, the kicks take inspiration from the Nike Air Challenge Huarache. This is one pair of sneakers that has been my grail for as long as i remember, never had a chance to purchase a pair in wearable condition in my size so next best thing was to make something that incorporated the same design patter. The kicks also feature Nike swooshes that can be removed to reveal Tennis ball material swooshes underneath.

Titled: Buzz Flightyear HI. They are Air Flight Lites customized to compliment Buzz Lightyear’s gear from his wings to his emblems. Little alien peeking out of the heel area to complete the space theme.
O: JustBeast
Titled: “31”, These are my 31st recorded custom (hence the name “31”). I wanted to make something with a simple colorway that I could rock but I felt like the shoes were missing something, while riding around here in Florida I noticed all the birds that had come down for the winter crowding the power lines, then I figured “why not” and added swarms of flying birds to certain areas of the shoes.
