Earlier this year Chris Hui of C2 Customs was commissioned to create a pair of custom kicks for independent filmmaker Andrew Jenks. You most likely know this filmmaker from his 2010 documentary series on MTV titled “World of Jenks” in which each episode he spent a week with a stranger from generation Y to see what they think, act, and ultimately stand for. A native New Yorker it is obvious from this pair of kicks Jenks is a huge Knicks fan.
C2 Customs gave the previously white and orange high top Dunks a NY Knickerbocker look starting off with the painting of blue Swooshes and toe boxes along with heel tabs striped like the NY teams jerseys. From the back you can see the New York Knicks logo was remixed to the filmmakers name along with a big bold #33 likely in tribute to one of the greatest Knicks, Patrick Ewing. To finish them off a spin on rain camo was painted onto the toe and lace panels. This pair is surely a 1 of 1 but you can send your own request for a custom sneaker via C2Customs.com and follow him on Twitter @C2_Customs.
