The world of custom sneakers really isn’t suited that well for the consumer who is happy with whatever you see on the store shelves. Especially when it comes to work from The Shoe Surgeon. In time for Jordan Brand’s yet again another release of the so called “Banned” Air Jordan 1 colorway, this pair was available from the Los Angeles artist’s studios. Not fading far from the widely popular trend of exotic skins this pair features a bright red python on the toes, Swooshes and heel panels emblazoned with the now famous X graphic. But when many pairs the last couple years have gone full python the black lends to a smoother just as nice quality Horween leather throughout the black panels. What is unseen though is the hand-lasted fitting and boost cushioning added to the sole for easily one of the more comfortable customs you can get.
Those lucky enough to drop the $1,200 on these before they sold out will receive them in a custom laser engraved wood box and special edition dust bag. For more information visit TheShoeSurgeon.com and follow them on Instagram.com/theshoesurgeon
