In today’s business world there are countless mediums to get the word out about your product or service. But which is the right way to lead you towards success? Most experienced business owners would likely recommend a well rounded attempt through multiple outlets depending on your biz. One of the more popular in recent years has been the phenomenon of online crowdsourcing sites like Kickstarter or IndieGoGo. Each allows people to create a campaign to raise funds by offering rewards to those that pledge a dollar amount to help fund their business, idea, or artwork. This is one area not many sneaker customizers have attempted to use, but Joseph Piddington is hoping it works out in his favor.
Joseph is the customizer and designer behind his namesake brand, Joseph Alexander Design. This week he announced his go at a campaign on KickStarter.com. A reachable goal of £7,500 for the UK based artist has to be met in 28 days to receive the funding. With 7 backers already giving some cash JA is offering a wide range of rewards from a thank you email for every £1 pledge to a full in person customization lesson along with a bunch of JA product for anyone able to pledge £1000 and over.
