Another week, another newsworthy pair of Air Jordan VI customs titled “114” by El Cappy Customz. This time El Cappy aka Eric Lowry worked with his customer Giovani DeJesus to take inspiration from the limited release “112” pack of Nikes designed by DJ Clark Kent. The specific pair they modeled these after were the Lebron 8 from the 112 series. Instead of a neon yellow seen on the 112s, neon green was used to go with the black leather and painted elephant print. Taking what was once the white/black/varsity red Air Jordan VI retro El Cappy’s biggest accomplishment may be the dying of the soles from clear to neon green. Lastly neon green lined the edges of the uppers panels along with a bit of 3m Scotchlite reflective material was added to the eyelet area for additional pop. Arguably one of the best color combinations anyone could choose.
